How does the poweroptimal Elon ® work?
The PowerOptimal Elon ® operates on a very simple principle: it enables direct current (DC) electricity produced by solar PV modules to be used directly for water heating using a standard electric geyser with alternating current (AC) heating element and AC thermostat. The Elon can run completely off-grid, or with grid AC power as backup.

Is elon100 a good product?
I live in Durbanville, Cape Town and have used the Elon100 since Feb 2021. It is a wonderful product and even though we have overcast winters and shorter days, I still save 50% of the electricity during the year, compared to before the installation of the Elon100. It is a wonderful product and it is maintenance free. I highly recommend it.
