As part of the Cellarhead BESS project, it entered into an EPC and O&M deal with Ameresco, involving battery supply, balance of plant, warranty, and availability guarantees. The EPC full wrap price stands at around $249 million, the companies revelead in May.

Called Cellarhead, the project is poised to enhance the UK’s energy security and reliability by connecting to the National Grid’s Cellarhead sub-station in the West Midlands region of England. The start of construction at the site is expected within this year, with the project’s connection to the electricity grid projected for the end of 2026.
